💜 We are hosting this event during Domestic Violence Awareness Month to raise awareness about the importance of safe, inclusive services—especially for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, who experience significantly higher rates of domestic violence than their heterosexual and cisgender peers. While increasing awareness is an important part of our mission, this event is also a celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community and an opportunity to ensure individuals know they are welcome, valued, and have access to safe, affirming resources and services.
🍂 This year's theme, "Harvesting Our Authentic Selves," celebrates authenticity, belonging, and the strength that comes from embracing who we are while supporting one another as a community.
