A low-level volunteer opportunity. We are open Mondays 12pm-5pm, Tuesdays 10am-3pm. Duties would include:

• Sitting at the front desk, greet people who enter, answer basic questions about The Center

• Assist with clothing closet appointments

• Sort incoming donations

• Occasional cleaning

• Answer the phone as needed

You will never be alone at The Center while volunteering in this area. Someone will be available to answer any/all questions as they come up!

Grant Committee

This team is critical to our ability to keep our doors open. We are always interested in assistance from grant experts or those with a gift for writing. Looking for help with research, finding grants, and editing/writing.

Fundraising Committee

Have a passion for fundraising? Join our committee! We meet twice a month to come together with updates on current fundraisers. You will be asked to organize a fundraiser with assistance from the Executive Director and volunteers.

Provide information about The Center at events. Events can range from weekends, evenings to daytime, depending on the opportunity! All materials will be given prior to the event.

We eventually would like to restart our support groups that are not currently active. If you are interested in taking on a support group, please let us know!

We’re proud that we’re able to offer a wide variety of internship opportunities at The Center. Whether it’s community outreach, fundraising, or day-to-day operations of a non-profit, there’s something for you. And we’ll tailor the experience for every intern that comes through our doors. We’ll work with the local universities to meet the needs of your internship and make sure you have an experience to help boost you into the professional field of interest.
